Position for a Patent Attorney at a Leading Law Firm in India

A Leading Law Firm in India is looking to recruit a Patent Attorney.The position is based out of Delhi.

Requirements include:

Qualifications: Should be an electronics /electrical/computer science /telecom engineer from a good university/college, with good grades. This is a minimum technical qualification. Preferably, the person should also be a registered patent agent and/or a lawyer.

Experience: Should have two to four years of experience in the field of patent drafting, including doing search through prior art; should have drafted at least twenty patent specifications; should be aware of the basic principles of patentability of computer implemented inventions and the laws relating thereto in India, U.S. and the EU (the EPO practice); should have an aptitude to comprehend an array of technologies in this area and apply the law.

Qualities: The person should be motivated to work independently. Should have a strong sense of commitment to client (or himself); should speak and write grammatically correct English; should have the ability to work well in a team; and to learn and take instructions.
